I'm Paing Thu Ta. I build backend systems and full stack products.

I mostly build real time apps, role based platforms, and APIs that hold up when things get busy. In my final year I built AU Journey, a live tram tracking app, which won the Outstanding Senior Project Award. Lately I've been running a self hosted job hunting assistant on a Raspberry Pi. It scrapes LinkedIn and Indeed, scores listings with an LLM, and texts me the best matches on Telegram every morning.

I'm currently a Software Engineer Intern at Partner Associates Int'l Co., Ltd., working with .NET, C#, Golang, and Angular.

I like understanding why something needs to exist before I write any code. It stops me from overbuilding things that didn't need it.
